Math Path

Math is individually taught and paced according to a student's ability,
prior knowledge, and unique learning needs. 

Each student is gently assessed to determine where to start on our "Math Path". Students work at their pace, with the goal of understanding and mastery.  

Number Sense / Addition / Subtraction

Area / Perimeter / Multiplication / Division
Fractions / Decimals / Percents / Pre-Algebra

Algebra, Geometry, Consumer Math/Stewardship,
Bookkeeping, Business, and more.

Language is incorporated with literature 

and taught with a focus on wisdom,  understanding, 

and communication skills.  
Games, activities, and other interactive methods are 

used to increase understanding and retention.

Parts of Speech, Sentences, Paragraphs

Intermediate/Middle School Focus
Literature, Creative Writing, Reporting, Narration, Grammar,
Spelling, Vocabulary, Cursive, Logic

High School Focus
Literature Analysis, Logic, Research, Reports, Essays,
Critical Thinking, Grammar, Vocabulary, Greek/Latin Roots

K - 8 Enrichment

Enrichment for Elementary and Middle School

Hands-on Art and Science Activities, Seasonal Fun, Presentation Skills, PE, Recess, ASL, and Strategy Games are foundational for our Enrichment Day each year.

Other classes that have been provided in past years as parents volunteer to share their skills or experiences  have included
cooking, sewing, cake decorating, electrical, welding, dog training,
coding, ukelele, piano, singing, dance, botany, book publishing,
and other arts, careers, and practical skills.

High School Electives and Science

Students complete labs and other activities here and complete
reading and research or study at home.
